  1. Confirm an emergency message or air-raid siren.
  2. Indoors, move to a basement or a room away from windows. Do not use a lift.
  3. Pull over safely, leave the vehicle and enter a nearby building. If no building is available outdoors, use solid cover or lie low.
  4. Continue checking government information until the all-clear.

  1. Do not open or touch suspicious powder, liquid, letters or parcels. Move away and call 110.
  2. If contact already occurred, wash with soap and follow police and health-authority instructions.
  3. Do not return to continuing danger; use the route and place designated by responders.

Infectious disease or biological incident

  1. Do not gather at a normal air-defense shelter on your own initiative. Isolation and evacuation differ by agent.
  2. At a suspected scene, follow responders to the designated place and cooperate with masking, handwashing and health follow-up.
  3. If exposure is possible, call 1922 or a local health bureau. If unwell, wear a mask, seek care and report the exposure history.

  1. If networks are congested, use a portable radio, local public broadcasts and saved official contacts.
  2. Check the source, date and location. Do not forward a claim until multiple government or other authoritative sources agree.
